Barfi just left me teary-eyed yet happy ... an expression difficult to explain ... Ranbir is the real rockstar with beautiful Illeana and fab Priyanka Chopra.
And ofcourse the music... Hats off to Pritam and the lyricist ... Undoubtedly Barfi is the bestest album of the year ... no munni no shiela ... just beautiful world of music and poetry :)

The tree of Life

There were two ways through life - the way of nature and the way of grace. You have to choose which one you'll follow.

Grace doesn't try to please itself. Accepts being slighted, forgotten, disliked. Accepts insults and injuries.

Nature only wants to please itself. Get others to please it too. Likes to lord it over them. To have its own way. It finds reasons to be unhappy when all the world is shining around it. And love is smiling through all things. ~ Tree of life

The superior energy above thinks on a time and celestial scale vaster than any man can comprehend, infinitely larger than any one individual’s joy or grief. Our lives are absolute zilch. Our existence, our sorrows and grieves are just a part of the bigger scheme of things which we cannot comprehend. It’s in four or more dimensions and we at best can see only three.


Only way to deal with these sufferings is with “Grace”. To understand we are just a tiny part of something much larger: The tree of life. To enjoy the beauty of this creation which evolved in billions and trillions of years. To feel and embrace the life around us. And to transcend individual pain and suffering.

Just like a mother. "Mother is Grace". She is almost angelic in her selfless and loving acceptance of those around her. Only this kind of “grace” allows us to endure the pain and suffering that are an inevitable part of our brief lifespans; attempts to discover the meaning of our personal existence, or to decipher the illusory intentions of the superior power supposedly concerned with the minutiae of our lives, in the end yield scant consolation.

Live with grace. Be charming

PS: Some delicate portions and hidden meanings understood, interpreted and compiled from imdb. This is entirely unrelated to the universal concept of nature and behaviour which only few human brains can comprehend :P. Watch the movie at your own risk. Either you love it OR you really hate it.
